Acceptance of terms
By creating an account, claiming a username, or otherwise accessing biocard.in, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use BioCard. If you use BioCard on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation.
User accounts
You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
Username policy
- Usernames are issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
- We may reclaim usernames that infringe trademarks, impersonate others, or are inactive for an extended period.
- Squatting, reselling, or auctioning usernames is prohibited.
User responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the content you publish on your BioCard, including its accuracy and your right to share it.
Prohibited activities
- Spam — unsolicited bulk messaging or link farms.
- Fraud — phishing, deceptive payment requests, scams.
- Illegal content — content that violates applicable laws.
- Copyright violations — posting material you do not own or have license to share.
- Malware, automated scraping, or attempts to disrupt the service.
Payment terms
Subscriptions
BioCard offers monthly and yearly subscription plans. Plan inclusions are described on the pricing page.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment partners. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on each renewal.
Renewals
Plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Account suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm other users, or expose BioCard to legal risk. You may close your account at any time from your settings.
Intellectual property
BioCard, its logo, and the platform's software are owned by us. You retain ownership of the content you upload, and grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display and deliver it as required to operate the service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BioCard is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to BioCard in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Disclaimer
BioCard is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Third party links
BioCard pages can link to external sites. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those sites.
Privacy
Your use of BioCard is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of BioCard after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in India.
